I started on this career path in high school when I worked as an onsite makeup artist and discovered my love for color. Eventually my interest expanded to include hair styling; after graduating from Avenue Five Institute in 2009, I was given the opportunity to expand my creativity and education at Vain under Joey’s guidance. At Vain, I have refined my craft with influences from pop culture and surrealism.
I love taking bits and pieces from the past and adapting it to an overall look for today for each individual client. But most importantly, I believe in finding harmony between client and stylist. Communication is key to this harmony, and from there something amazing can emerge.
